Board of Trustees
Library Trustees are the library's governing body, consisting of five members, including three executive members serving as Board Chairperson, Treasurer, and Board Secretary. Publicly elected by the Town of Stamford, Trustees serve terms of two or three years. Trustees are responsible for hiring and evaluating the Librarian, creating and reviewing library policies, managing library finances, including drafting an annual budget for approval by the Town of Stamford, and reporting on the library's activities in the Annual Report of the Town of Stamford.
